I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The room I was assigned seemed promising at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it was evident that the cleanliness and maintenance were severely lacking.
One of the most alarming issues was the state of the kettle. It was visibly dirty, with stains and grime both inside and outside. I couldn't imagine using it to make a cup of tea or coffee without feeling disgusted. Additionally, there was a cleaning bottle left in the room, indicating that the housekeeping staff had either forgotten to remove it or hadn't thoroughly cleaned the area. This oversight was quite off-putting and raised concerns about the overall hygiene standards of the hotel.
To add to the disappointments, there was no TV remote control in the room. As a guest, I expect basic amenities to be in place and functional, and not having the remote control was inconvenient,
The carpet in the room was stained in several places, giving an impression of poor maintenance and lack of attention to detail. These stains made the room feel uninviting and added to the overall sense of uncleanliness. Additionally, the windows were covered in fingerprints and marks, indicating that they hadn't been properly cleaned in a while. This lack of attention to cleanliness throughout the room was quite disheartening.
The location, which might have been a positive aspect in the past, has apparently declined in recent times. Unfortunately, this is beyond the hotel's control, but it does impact the overall experience for guests.
While the hotel staff was friendly and responsive to some of my concerns, it's evident that the management needs to prioritize room cleanliness and maintenance to provide a more pleasant stay for their guests. I hope they take these issues seriously and work towards improving their service.
